Save on Travel

Summer is the time for traveling. If you are a keen traveler, probably you have been using an airline card to save on airfare. If you travel from time to time and haven’t heard about the cards with travel rewards yet, then continue reading. Intended for customers with good-to-excellent credit, airline cards come with alluring credit card rates and great rewards programs enabling you to cut your travel expenses with the least effort.
The process of getting rewards is quite simple. You need to use your credit card to book flights with your favorite airline, reserve a hotel room, or pay for your daily purchases with your card. Each time you use your card, you earn miles. The more miles you accrue, the more travel benefits will be available to you. Once you accumulate a specified amount of air miles, you may exchange them for a variety of rewards: discounted airline tickets, seat upgrades, free flights, gift certificates and other benefits that may help you upgrade your travel. It sounds attractive!

Going on Vacation

Hurrayyyyyyyy!!!! At Last! I am going on vacation with my family. I am so happy. Where am I going? This is the question that has no definite answer yet (Lol). Spain, Paris, England…my dream is Venice, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. For me it is the city of love, beauty and romance. I adore its architecture and always dream to see the sights of Venice with my own eyes. It is similar to a fairy-tale where everything around is charming and inviting. The vacation can make my dream come true.

Good Shape & Good Mood

At last it’s spring time - time to shed your bulky winter clothes, think about summer and start preparing for it. It is a usual case when we pay less attention to healthy food in the winter and as a result want to recover our shapes when spring is here.
I am not a follower of diets as they have short term effect. I prefer to change my everyday diet in order to feel myself much better: green tea instead of coffee or black tea, salads instead of unhealthy snacks or fatty food, brown bread instead of white bread (or no bread at all), more fresh juices and, certainly, active fitness. This is a simple combination of good mood and good shape.

Spring is coming...

It’s February, and spring is on the threshold - a long time elapsed since my last post. It was a busy period for me but full of positive emotions and fun. I’ve seen my friends and relatives, met new interesting people, walked, gone skating and skiing and done a mountain of work at the same time. I can say out loud that these holidays were COOOL and the best ones for me and my family.
Spring is on the threshold and everything around betokens its forthcoming. This makes my mood merry and lends me wings, so necessary after busy weeks and tons of work.

Legend of Fir Tree Decorating

I adore Christmas and everything associated with celebration of this holiday. Preparation of gifts, decoration of fir tree and everything around….oh oh how I like it. But do you know where the tradition to decorate a tree springs from? It is from Germany that nowadays we have our traditions, images of Santa, fir trees, songs, etc. There was a legend about a monk from Devonshire who came to Germany to teach the Word of God. He used a triangular shape of fir trying to describe the Holy Trinity of God. Then people began to consider the Fir as God’s tree and idolize it. The custom of decorating trees was introduced in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1842 and till now we adore this tradition and wait for this holiday with reverence.

Books - Better Listening or Reading

Some people prefer reading books more than listening. I listened to books only once when I tried to learn Spanish. It’s convenient really. You don’t need to take a book with you and ruin your eyesight. Recently when I was looking for information about religion and spirituality for my grandma I have found so many audio books that now when I am driving a car I listen to Dean Koontz. For me it’s the optimal variant as usually I have no time to read but like reading.

Your Own Time

Spend some time alone every day. Dalai Lama

Why do we need this time? To think, to dream, to plan, to love…We need this time just to spare it for ourselves whether we walk, keep house, write a letter, or just sit in a comfortable armchair. Nobody can break our thoughts and interrupt our privacy. Therefore spending some time alone is needed.

Yoga for Body, Health, Soul

When I was looking for a workout program for my body, soul and health, I chose yoga among the variety. Someone can think that yoga is difficult physically and avoid such kind of classes but it can be as gentle or as energetic as you want. It is inoffensive I believe. If you didn’t go in for sport, like me, yoga is for you.
It has many benefits as it can improve stamina and flexibility, stretches your muscles, strengthens cardiovascular system and so on. The main goals of yoga are to train your body, mind and breath. After my first practice I could say that yoga also reduces stress and helps to sleep better.

Figure Skating Makes Healthier

Nowadays there are so many sports classes and schoolhouses for small kids so whether you have a boy or a girl, you will surely find something suitable for your child. For me it was rather difficult to determine which one will be the ‘best of the best’ for my kid. Certainly, nobody can know for sure what kind of sport his/her child will like most and will be a success. But when your kid is small, only you can decide and try together with the child this or that activity. Looking through a great variety of offers, I have chosen swimming and figure skating as I believe such kind of sport will make my daughter healthier and her figure slim. We had only three figure skating lessons but I saw how she enjoyed it. There is no more pleasant thing than watching your child who is trying to skate and be a success and how satisfied she is.

Get Instant Approval and Plan Purchases

When I was a teen, like many other friends of mine I used the flower to learn “Loves me, loves me not”. (LOL!) Nowadays applying for a new credit card I always guessed: approved or not, approval or denial and wanted to have a magic flower to learn the answer as soon as possible. And I know that I am not the only one who is impatient while waiting for decision.
Recently, I applied for a card that offered instant credit approval and I got it!!! Of course, I didn’t get a card itself immediately but still I got the answer and can wait for my card planning purchases.

Good Mood

If you wake up in a good mood, your day will be productive. But very often we just cannot begin our morning in good mood and there are many reasons for that. For instance: when you go to bed being angry or, say, dissatisfied with something, you will wake up the same way. It takes too much time for you to find this or that clothes or some other necessary thing in the morning? Keep everything organized and you will have less stress in the morning. Some more reasons for waking up in a good mood are a comfortable bed, right temperature in your room and chilled-out atmosphere. These simple rules can make your day better and your mood more cheerful as your mood is one of the keys to success.

Eat Chocolate or Pack

Yesterday I went to make a "chocolate pack" for my body. Oh, it was wonderful! When I decided to make such a treatment, some of my friends told me that it will be too hot but it wasn't, really. It was only a pleasure. Moreover, after the procedure I smelled like a chocolate and my skin was amazingly silky and sleek.

Rain...

Do you like rain? It is from my childhood when I could splash through the puddles just for fun and enjoyed it very much. I didn't catch cold, everything was just great. Now I can't afford it but still I love when it's raining.

Building Credit Attempts

The friend of mine has difficulties in building good credit history. She wants to build a solid one but it is not so easy for her as I understand. She is absent-minded. I know her for 15 years and as I remember she was always forgetful. I thought that when it comes to money, people can change but looking at her and her attempts to build a history I was mistaken thinking so (LOL). She just forgets her due date to make payments and so sometimes is late. How could it be? It is beyond me. It is a little bit funny talking about such unusual cases. Now we all try to remind her about her credit payments every months, just in case, and hope that she will be a success.

Thinking about Winter Holidays

Yesterday my friend asked me about my plans for the New Year holidays. I had no answer. I was surprised to know that many friends of mine have already been preparing for winter holidays; I mean trips. Isn’t it early? Probably, there will be no good seasonal offers for travelling soon, or they just have free money to buy tickets now, or, the last variant, they just want to be sure now that their holidays will be fun preparing beforehand. I understand all these items, but I didn’t think about my holidays because I had no time to think.

Ice Cream Is Good for Our Body and Health

We all love ice cream. Banana, vanilla, fruit, chocolate…Delicious!!! What is your favorite one? Whether you like mango ice cream or just full-cream ice, you should know that ice cream is not just a sweet stuff. It is useful for our health as it is calcium-rich. This mineral reduces the risk of cancer and development of kidney stones. It is also good for our blood as it controls blood pressure. It was a surprise for me that ice cream even helps to lose weight due to calcium. So eat ice cream from time to time to be healthier!

A Harmony in Autumn

Summer is over. Autumn is on the threshold. It's great but at the same time sad as warm summer days went by and now is the time to prepare for cold winter and miss about summer. But in spite of this sadness I like autumn because of very beautiful nature with its bright and sunny colors. Great poets always glorify autumn as one of the most wonderful seasons.

There is a harmony in autumn, and a luster in its sky, which through the summer is not heard or seen, as if it could not be, as if it had not been! ~ Percy Bysshe Shelley

I trust in nature for the stable laws of beauty and utility. Spring shall plant and autumn garner to the end of time. ~ Robert Browning

Autumn wins you best by this its mute appeal to sympathy for its decay.
~ Robert Browning

Good Credit - Lowest Interest Rates

What is the first feature you pay attention to when applying for a new credit card? I believe it is credit card rates and then fees. The lower they are the better. But unfortunately, not all cards come with attractive features. Only people with good or excellent credit history can afford such perfect cards with low rates, no annual fee and other striking advantages. As for those with not ideal credit history, they can use credit cards either with low rates and high annual fee or high interest rates and fees. Why is it so? Banks and credit card companies always risk working with people whose credit is damaged or not ideal. So they need to take special security measures – rather high interest rates and low credit limit. But at the same time such lenders offer a good chance to rebuild credit history and aspire to better financial opportunities.

Mimosa Pudica

Recently I decided to experiment. I bought a seed of mimosa pudica in order to grow it at home. I have never done it before (Lol), never grown any plant from a seed myself at home. So, I expected good results and I got them. Hurray!!!
It is beautiful and very ticklish when I touch its leaves they droop reopening within several minutes. Not for nothing it is called Shy . My daughter likes this flower as a favorite toy because of its effect: droops, re-opens, droops, re-opens...
